Description of the searches:
     

Corporate profile search
The Corporation Profile Report displays current information on the public record for the subject corporation. All active directors and officers are listed. Some historical information, such as amalgamating corporations, where the subject corporation is an amalgamation, and name history are included in the report.

Bankruptcy search
A bankruptcy Search will indicate whether a corporation or individual is or has been bankrupt, whether an assignment, proposal to creditors or receiving order has been made against the corporation or individual under The Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act of Canada.
Business name report
The Business Names Report displays extensive information on any business name currently registered.
This report includes the business name, registration date, expiry date, business address, business activity, registrant(s) name(s) and address(es), documents filed and filing dates and the Business Identification Number (BIN).
Status certificate
The Certificate of Status provides the current status of the corporation. It is available only for Ontario corporations.
Land Registry search / Title Search
A Title Search is the first thing you should do when considering to buy a piece of property. A Title Search can uncover hidden truths about the property. Title Search results can show liens or mortgages registered on title of the property in question.
PPSA search
PPSA search can indicate whether the personal property of a corporation, individual, business name or a motor vehicle identification number is encumbered and subject to the security interests of creditors.
Trademark search
A trademark search can help you determine if your proposed name or slogan has been registered by another party in Canada
Writ of execution search
This search determines whether a person, corporation or other legal entity has a Writ of Execution filed against them which affects all lands owned by such person, corporation or other legal entity within the jurisdiction of the Sheriff's office and/or the land titles office wherein such writs are filed.
