NOTICE FILING IN ONTARIO

Every corporation must maintain accurate records and promptly submit any changes to the government.

1. If you have a newly registered corporation, you are required to file an Initial Return within 60 days of registration.
2. If you change your address, you are required to inform the government within 15 days.
3. If any changes occur with Directors or the Officers of the Corporation, you are required to inform the government within 15 days.

Usually the government requires 30 to 45 days to process your Notice. Some times this is just too long to wait if you have to make an immediate change.

Why would you need an immediate change?

If you had any changes to the Directors or Officers of the corporation and you are trying to do the following:

  • Opening or updating bank account.
  • Applying for municipal license.
  • Buying or selling a business
  • Or any other activity when you simply cannot wait for 45 days.

There is really only one way to file your notice. You must do it electronically and we can help. We can file your notice and get the results the same day.
You will get the certificate ready to present to any institution that requires it.

Cost would depend on the type of work we have to perform. Generally, our fees are between $50.00 and $150.00 (Plus access fees and taxes).
